DH Industries Limited was established in Tema, Ghana, as the manufacturing arm of the globally recognised Madar Group — a household and personal care conglomerate with roots stretching back to 1986. While the Madar Group has built trusted brands across multiple continents, DH Industries is Ghana's own: a factory, a team, and a commitment to producing world-class cleaning products right here, for homes and businesses across West Africa.

We are located in the Heavy Industrial Area of Tema — Ghana's manufacturing and export hub — where our purpose-built facility produces eight brands across more than 26 product lines. Every batch is quality-controlled against international standards before it reaches the shelf. Our reach spans Greater Accra, Ashanti, Western, and Northern regions of Ghana, and extends into neighbouring West African markets.

The Madar story

Madar is our flagship — the brand that Ghanaian households have come to trust for powder detergent, laundry soap, liquid bleach, antiseptic, and handwash. The name carries weight across the region, and our manufacturing process ensures it keeps earning that trust every day. "Madar like no other / Do it your way!" is the spirit that drives every product decision we make.

Growing the portfolio

Over the years, DH Industries has extended the portfolio to meet specific household and commercial needs: Noura's oxygenated detergent for stubborn stains, Lido's everyday value range, Topco and Mo for the open market, and Mabel, Perla, and Brisa for personal care. Each brand has a clear purpose, a clear customer, and a clear quality promise.
